Delete your Aven account

This page explains how users can request deletion of their Aven account and associated cloud data.

How to request deletion

  1. Open the Aven app and go to Settings.
  2. Use the in-app delete account option if it is available on your build.
  3. If you cannot access the app, email from the address linked to your account.

What to include in your request

  • the email address linked to your Aven account
  • a short statement that you want your account deleted
  • optional details that help us verify the request if you no longer have app access

What will be deleted

  • account profile information associated with your Aven account
  • cloud-synced study content associated with that account
  • associated service metadata that is no longer required to operate, secure, or comply with law

What may be retained for a limited period

  • billing and subscription reconciliation records
  • fraud, abuse, and security records
  • data that must be retained to comply with legal obligations
  • short-lived backups before they cycle out

Subscriptions

Deleting your Aven account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription. If you subscribed through Google Play, you should also cancel your subscription in Google Play to avoid future renewals.

Response timing

We aim to review deletion requests within a reasonable period and complete deletion or de-identification as soon as practicable, subject to legal, billing, security, and backup constraints.
